Silence at Silo has been around for the past seven years. Times have changed, but we have not. We still love artists without name or fame. That's why we are so proud to present you two world stars you have never ever heard of before: Gergoe and David Tonspiel. We are glad to fly them over from Berlin just for your partying pleasure. The Croatia based producer Examine and the Silenced collective have crossed paths more than once. This time he contributed three well-elaborated tracks to cover the holy number six. Examine's meticulous way of producing makes this EP nice home listening material, but this would definitely work in a more dancefloor oriented environment as well. Sit back while dubby chords and twitching microtextures fill your room and make you say 'thanks Silenced' once again.

Damohl33 turned out to be one of the finest producers passing us a demo last year. With around ten netreleases under his belt he surely is no stranger to the netaudio cirquit, though. Shhht05 contains two tracks of heart-warming techno, precisely fulfilling your aural needs in these cold days. A word of warning though; Silenced is not responsible for you tapping that replay-button over and over, as both pieces will far exceed your average track life cycle.

Silenced' fourth netrelease contains a free re-issue of The Menu's "Tatooine EP", a successful release by the foregone Bokal label. With the ability to turn any party into a massive Star Wars dance-off, Silenced just had to ask permission to carry out this one for the free masses. It's lightsaber time!

The Brussels-based producer duo Eavesdrop popped up as one of Silenced' favourite entries of their past demo-contest. No wonder we decided on offering them a release on our newfound netlabel. Eavesdrop passed through three slices of bumpy Balearic tech-house, driven with subtle percussion and occasionally broken up with a melodic twist. A strong three-tracker based upon repetitiveness as well as organic sounds, letting the summer last just a little bit longer.
Down_under and Silenced are honoured to organise the night of new years eve at Silo. Both partycrews consist of dj's from Leuven with a long history of throwing parties in this famous club.
Silenced will start the evening with a big bang. The rules of the game: contemporary techno and champagne. Down_under takes over with their typical underground sound, the best mixture of house and techno which will take you down, deep into 2010.
FREE entrance in 2009, only TEN euro's in 2010. Party starts at eleven pm and lasts till eleven am.

Silenced' second release granted to fellow Belgian Andre Lanine covers a wide musical spectrum with 'Hades' and 'Harp', delivering driving clicks & cuts, sounding dark and fresh without corrupting total balance.
As an additional slice of musical goodness, Andre's track 'Harp' gets a thorough treatment by Silenced socio Crisp. He brewed us a liquid house interpretation colored with some epic tension builders along the way. Giggity giggity!
We are all applauding Silenced first official netrelease! After months of hard work the netlabel has finally kicked off with a first product!
After some remarkable releases on the acclaimed Spanish Inoquo netlabel, Hermetico provides us with a diverse four-tracker of contemporary minimal techno, often skilfully layered with his trademark perpetual melodies.
Aside the original mixes we encounter two additional reshuffles as well, provided by Dan Droff and Andre Lanine, making this release a copious chunk of quality techno, strongly advised for all your peak-time endeavors.

We've got some dazzling, fresh music coming your way!
Our yearly contest attracted producers from Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Croatia, The Netherlands, Great Britain, Poland, Russia and Slovenia! The quality of the participating artists' music turned out to be simply amazing. The coming weeks, we'll be selecting the best of the best.
Summertime will bring you free downloadable music, followed by Silence at Silo featuring the winners of the contest. Good Times!

Would you like to come to Belgium and play your music for lots of people in an awesome club?
This is the sixth edition of the yearly Silenced competition. We are looking for talented, european producers with a passion for minimal techno. Winners will be flown over to Belgium where they'll perform live on the main stage of one of Belgium's finest underground clubs. We are talking about club Silo, where we host our party "Silence" (26/09/09), which is all about new music, fresh artists and a thousand clubbers. This booking is one thing, but there's more to this contest!
The winners get to join the Silenced collective and they'll be invited to make a release on our netlabel. Furthermore we can give you radio airtime and our commitment to fix you more bookings in Belgium.
What do you need to do?
Make kick ass minimal techno and send a myspace link to contest@silenced.be, mentioning you'd like to join our contest.
The deadline for participation is the 31st of May. An experienced jury will listen to your tracks and contact the finalists
